DescriptionAgra Fort 04.JPG	English: A huge wall that stands 69 ft in height and a mile and a half in circuit encircles the crescent shaped fort. With only two main gates built to enter the fort, the impregnable stature of the fort becomes amply clear. The two gates are named the Delhi gate and the Amar Singh Gate. This is a photo of ASI monument number N-UP-A1.

Agra Fort is a monument,a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal.Started during the reign of the Mughal emperor Akbar (1556-1605 AD), the construction work on the Fort continued till the reign of his grand son Shah Jahan (1627-58 AD).The monolith structure displays the architectural affection and imposes the Mughal style of art and architecture.It is one of the most important and robustly built stronghold of the Mughals.
