Summary edit

Description This is a rather unusual warbird - a Yak-11 "Moose". This was a late World War II Russian trainer. This particular example was probably actually built in Czechoslovakia under license. It used to be housed at the Planes of Fame East Air Musuem as part of Bob Pond's collection, but I believe it is now owned by someone else. As memory serves, it does not have the original engine. This photo was taken at the Wings of the North Air Expo 2005.
