Description U.S. 5th FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Nov. 26, 2014) Air Crewman inside of an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to the “Desert Hawks” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26 Det. 1 use a rescue basket to recover two search and rescue (SAR) swimmers during a SAR training evolution. HSC-26, Det. 1 is a Forward Deployed Naval Force (FDNF) asset attached to Commander, Task Force 53 to provide combat logistics and search and rescue capability throughout the U.S. 5thFleet area of responsibility.
