Description

The Cable Crossing Fire in southern Oregon was discovered July 28, 2015, and air attack started immediately. This image set shows mostly retardant and water drops from wildfire aircraft during the first week of fire fighting, when the fire grew to 1,500 acres.

The Cable Crossing Fire burned east of Glide, Oregon, near Highway 138.
