Summary

Description

This highly-modified Airbus A300 is used by the maker to transport wings and other large parts of the airliners they make around Europe, for assembly.

5 have been made and they can be seen ferrying parts all the time.

Very recently a new "Beluga XL" based on the Airbus A330 has been made and is being tested. Eventually it and others of that type will take over the transportation task.
