Description
Deutsch: Noch stehender Turm auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Bochumer Vereins an der Essener Straße in Höntrop, der das Ausgleichsgefäss der Heißwasserbereitung beherbergt. In dem Hallensegment recht neben dem Turm ist die betriebliche Abfallsammelstelle, unterhalb des Turms befindet sich die zwischenzeitlich nicht mehr genutzte Schreierei. Rechts schloss sich das Röhrenwalzwerk an (jetzt: Halle mit dem Schriftzug "Panopa"). Links neben dem Turm stand ursprünglich ein Mannschaftsgebäude der mittels eines Fußgängertunnels mit dem Torhaus 11 auf der anderen Straßenseite verbunden war (verfüllt) Weiter links das Siemens-Martin Stahlwerk des Höntroper Standortes.
