Description
Interlingue: At the Hôtel de la Marine in Paris, from March 6 to June 30, 2024, exhibition "Le Goût de la Renaissance (Renaissance Style). A dialogue between collections", in collaboration between the Al Thani Collection and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London ; Saint George, composite statuette in partially gilded silver : the base is due to Melchior Gelb I (ca 1581-1654) of Augsburg around 1640 and the equestrian figure of German origin is dated between 1665 and 1700 ; 24 x 17 x 13.5 cm (ATC 190).
