Español: Alabastrón corintio de época arcaica. Una esfinge con las alas desplegadas llena la mayor parte de la superficie. Sentada sobre sus cuartos traseros, las patas delanteras firmes, el cuello levantado, los ojos abiertos y lleva un tocado femenino griego, el polos, o gorro cilíndrico de los dioses, tan alto que no queda sitio para completar el friso de lengüetas de la base del cuello, decoración subsidiaria que se pintó después. En el espacio que deja libre la esfinge se añade un ánade, tal vez un cisne, que camina con las alas recogidas. Todo el fondo se llena de rosetas y una de ellas remata la base. Lo único que se cubre sólo de barniz es el asita, mientras que la boca se pinta al exterior con una línea de puntos y en la parte superior, como en el cuello, con lengüetas alternadas rojas y negras.
