Plan von der Linie an dem Obern Rhein von dem Tobel bis Daxlanden sambt der Postirung auff den Winter 1708 und 1709 wie solche unter Com(m)ando Ihro Churfurstl. Durchl. zu Braunschweig und Lüneburg regulirt worden". Zeitgenöss. aquarellierte Tuschfeder- u. -pinselzeichnung von "J. F. v. Batzendorff. manu propria (in Gitterform) Ing. fecit". Mit 2 ornament. u. 3 (1 montiert) Vorhang- bzw. Schriftrollenkart. sowie großer Windrose.

Nordwestl. orientierte Militärkarte des Albtals zwischen Pfortz, Hardtwald, Rüppurr (heute Karlsruhe), Spielberg u. Dobel, Ettlingen im Zentrum. Mit Einzeichnung der während des Spanischen Erbfolgekriegs 1707 auf Befehl des damaligen Oberbefehlshabers der Rheinarmee, dem Kurfürsten Georg Ludwig von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, errichteten Ettlinger Linie von der Rheinniederung bis Dobel im Nordschwarzwald. Diese Verteidigungsanlage bildete mit der sich anschließenden Schwarzwaldlinie einen Sperriegel gegen die von Süden her erwarteten franz. Truppen.
