Sullo sfondo, il paese di Ponte (frazione del comune di Castel Sant'Angelo). Immagine tratta dalla raccolta di fotografie sulla costruenda ferrovia L'Aquila-Rieti, realizzata da Achille Mauri per conto della "Società Italiana per le Strade Ferrate Meridionali" e pubblicata nell'ottobre 1883.
