An A-10A assigned to the 511th Tactical Fighter Squadron, RAF Alconbury, UK, 1991. (Airshow Photo - unknown origin.) This aircraft was assigned to USAF 1Lt Buck Wyndham who, while on station in Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War, designed this aircraft's nose-art ("Lakanuki") and had it painted by one of the squadron's crew chiefs.
