| Description | This shot was taken – and originally uploaded – in September 2008. The registered upload date has been adjusted by three years so that the church can be compared with its present state as depicted in shots taken in August 2011. Of particular interest is the roof since, in February 2010, thieves removed some of its lead tiles and extensive water damage resulted as heavy rains poured in. Carpets, furniture and electrical equipment were ruined and the 16th-century roof beams were exposed to the elements. The 2008 shot is shown in the comment below. The roof looks identical in the two shots. Strange! |
