English: Lychgate of All Saints' Church, Barrowby, Lincolnshire, England. Postcard produced by Needham Bros, c. pre-1909 per postal date. Photograph taken near the junction of Church Street and The Posts. The second house along to the right with the open window was demolished to make room for the grounds of the village primary school. The ancient avenue of yew trees between the lychgate and the church lasted until the turn of the 21st century, after which it was cut to stumps. |
