Description

Baillon's Crake.

I had a free hour this afternoon, so I visited my nearby swamp, that is about a kilometre from my home, in an attempt to get a better shot of the Baillon's Crake. ALMOST got the shot I wanted, with the raised leg, showing the enormous feet, but there was a bloody twig in the way!!!!!! Should have taken the shot a fraction of a second earlier. Next time, perhaps!

I really don't know why I am posting the shot, but I guess this is the nature of bird photography.
