Description
English: Aln estuary Until the early part of the 19th century, this was a thriving little harbour, near the mouth of the River Aln, bringing in grain such that many of the buildings in Alnmouth were grain stores. Today the harbour is just used by a small yachts as much of the foreshore is silted up.
