Description
English: The Castor fiber (common name European castor) is one of the largest species of rodent and it is critically endangered. They are adapted to use a semi-aquatic life and prefer freshwater habits surrounded by woodland. Alnus glutinosa and Betula pendula are two of several species of tree commonly associated with beavers and their habitat.
