Description
Español: Altar de Nuestra Señora de la Cinta de la catedral de Sevilla, (España). Es una escultura de barro cocido y policromado atribuida al escultor Lorenzo Mercadante de Bretaña, que según algunos autores debió ser realizada hacia el año 1.470. La imagen está adornada con una larga cinta en torno a su cintura, la cual simboliza consuelo, remedio y protección, lo que constituye el origen de su advocación. Y el retablo que cobija la imagen es de estilo barroco y data del siglo XVII.
