Description
Deutsch: Die Stiftskirche Unsere Liebe Frau zur Alten Kapelle aus dem Jahr 875 ist eine der ältesten Kirchen Regensburgs. Sie geht zurück auf die Zeit der herzoglichen Pfalz am heutigen Alten Kornmarkt und diente König Ludwig dem Deutschen als Pfalzkapelle. 1002 bis 1004 wurde sie durch den bayerischen Herzog Heinrich IV. und späteren Kaiser Heinrich II. umgebaut und erneuert. Der freistehende Glockenturm wurde im 12. und 13. Jahrhundert aufgestockt.
