Description
English: A treadwheel crane at the riverside of Marktbreit, preserved as cultural heritage.
Deutsch: Das Industriedenkmal Alter Kranen in Marktbreit am Ufer des Mains. Entstanden ist der Kran im Jahre 1784 auf Anordnung von Johanns I. Nepomuk, der den beim Jahrhunderteisgang Anfang März 1784 zerstörten Vorgängerkranen ersetzte. Der Hafenkran (Frachtkran) ist mit einem Eisbrecher in Stromaufwärtsrichtung versehen und war bis 1899/1900 in Betrieb.
