Description
Deutsch: Große Teile des Landschaftsschutzgebietes Altwarmbüchener Moor - Ahltener Wald (LSG-H19) bestehen aus totholzreichen Birken-Kiefern-Moorwald. Die Region Hannover plant das schon bestehende NSG -HA44 großräumig zu erweitern, so dass dann auch der hier abgebildete Teil zum Naturschutzgebiet wird. In der Nähe des Hochmoor-Zentrums stehen weite Teile Jahr für Jahr unter Wasser, so dass der in der Mitte des Fotos verlaufende Pfad, der gelegentlich von Jägern und Spaziergängern begangen wird, unter Wasser steht.
