English: A severe drought in the Amazon is disrupting transportation, isolating communities and putting wildlife at risk. The Amazon and its tributaries, including the Rio Negro that joins the Amazon at Manaus (2023 image), fell to their lowest level in over a century. The images were acquired October 9, 2023 and August 15, 2020.
