Description
Afrikaans: 'n Bloekom-verwelkwants (Amorbus alternatus). Die volwassenes is onopvallend, maar die jeugdiges nogal skouspelagtig. Albei voed op plantsap en produseer 'n sterk afstotende stinkbesie-reuk wanneer hulle versteur word. Hierdie een is op 'n Bosrooibloekom (Eucalyptus tereticornis) langs die uitgaande heiningpad gevind.
English: A Eucalyptus Tip-wilter Bug (Amorbus alternatus). The adult is boring, but the juveniles are quite spectacular. Both feed on plant sap and produce a strong repellent odour when disturbed (stink bug). These were found on Forest Red Gum (Eucalyptus tereticornis) next to the Fence Run Out track.
