English: Amotherby railway station (site), Yorkshire Opened in 1853 as a branch of the York Berwick & Newcastle Railway's line from Thirsk to Malton, this station closed to passengers in 1931 and completely in 1964. View east from the former level crossing towards Malton. The track ran roughly along the line of the hedge with the station platform and building to the right of it. All trace of it were removed by later development. |
