Photo taken at Central University of Venezuela. I used a Canon EOS 3 mounted with a Lensbaby 2.0 and loaded with Velvia 50 slide film. Then, I copied the resulting transparency into Polaroid 88 with a Daylab 35+ This sculture by French Henri Laurens (1885-1954), was commissioned in 1952 for the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas, by architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva. It depicts the union of dance, architecture, music and art. During my undergraduate times, I used to spend hours looking at it for inspiration. Now as a mature student, I finally had the opportunity to take a snap of it in both slide and polaroid versions. |
