Une monnaie en bronze d’une sapèque dont la détermination est incertaine car suivant les auteurs elle est attribuée à des souverains différents ou à des époques différentes. A/ Dai Dinh thong bao (monnaie courante de l’ère Dai Dinh) R/ Vide Diamètre : 24.14 mm Poids : 2,7 g Remarques : Il faut d’abord remarquer que cette monnaie est de belle facture : le diamètre et le poids sont corrects. Il ne s’agit pas de fausse monnaie ou de petite monnaie. L’écriture est aussi bien exécutée ainsi que la fonte. Il doit s’agir d’une monnaie officielle. Voyons maintenant les différentes hypothèses : Toda l’attribue à la dynastie Ly (1110-1225) au roi Anh Tong (1139-1176) pour son second nien-hao (1140-1162). C’est aussi le cas de Schjoth. Novak et Thierry l’attribuent à Duong Nhat Le (1369-1370) de la dynastie Tran (1225-1414). Schroeder considère qu’il s’agit d’une copie d’une monnaie chinoise (Da Ding) de la dynastie Jin (1161-1189) mais sans donner de période. Thuan Luc, dans un article intitulé « Re-attribution of Dai Dinh Thong Bao and Quang Bao Thong Bao Coins » paru dans la revue Numismatique Asiatique, n°II de septembre 2014, émet une hypothèse intéressante : Il associe cette monnaie avec une autre (Chinh Long Thong Bao) que l’on trouve ensemble dans des trésors du XVIe siècle car on y trouve aussi des monnaies Nguyen Hoa, Tong Nguyen et Canh Nguyen. Il reconnaît qu’il doit s’agir d’une monnaie officielle mais ne peut l’attribuer à aucun souverain de la dynastie Mac. Il est donc difficile de trancher. Je l’ai acheté avec l’attribution à Duong Nhat Le.
