Yesterday we switched to daylight savings time (summer time) here in the US. I definitely appreciate the extra light in the evenings. However, today was dreary and gray, so the extra hour of light didn't amount to much. As I was leaving work this evening the title for this shot came to me, and then I spent about 20 minutes trying to find an appropriate way to capture the idea of 'an extra hour of grayness'. This comes pretty close I think, or at least was the best I could manage before having to pick up the kids. |
