Description

English: Visitors, devotees and locals braving heat, shower, wind at Bhaktapur Durbar Square since dawn gracing Gaijatra - the festival that commemorates the death of people during the year through caricature and other dramas- are enduring images of that day. Nothing can dampen their spirit as they take shelter in a monument that is a World Heritage Site that acts like a patriarch which takes care of everyone who comes under its shelter. Visitors, devotees and locals all try their best to have better position so that they can have good experience of that eureka moment.Their unshakable determination and unwavering faith also draw both locals and visitors at Bhaktapur during Gaijatra that is joyously celebrated at Bhaktapur Durbar Square in particular. Undoubtedly, if there ever was a city devoted to Monuments and aesthetics, it is Bhaktapur.
