Description
English: Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, sits at the top of the Cook Inlet on the Kenai Peninsula. At the center of the image is the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport; in the upper right corner is Elmendorf Air Force Base. The image covers an area of 30 by 30 km, was acquired May 12, 2000, and is located at 61.2 degrees north latitude and 149.9 degrees west longitude.
