| Description |
English: Ancient and modern An old stone wall surrounds the complex on top of Caradon Hill which contains various telecommunications transmitters and antennae. The masts transmit analogue and digital radio signals and, since August 2009, only digital tv signals to most of Cornwall, that is, the area east of Truro and Falmouth. The main mast is 237.7 metres (780 feet) tall and was constructed in 1961. |
