English: This scripture was engraved in a stone placed alongside the Mekhla ujai path (stone stair steps) to Kamakhya temple in Guwahati. This engraving looks like the ancient language form of Hindi which could be centuries old. Only an expert could read this. However, this scripture is lying unattended somewhere along the path to the holy temple of Kamakhya. |
