Description
English: Coastal motor vessel ANNALIESE WEHLEN (originally IMO 5247304, since 1966 IMO 6524785) built at Schiffswerft Nobiskrug, Rendsburg, as FORTUNA for Nicolaus Turowsky, Burg/Dithmarschen (yard № 478, launched: 26-04-1938, delivered: 1938, 211 GRT), 23-08-1940 seized by Kriegsmarine (Germany Navy) as auxiliary vessel LAT 6 FORTUNA I, 1941 based at Cuxhaven as H 452 (Hafenschutzboot), 17-11-1941 severely damaged in collision with Danish cargo ship VIBORG, later repaired at Cuxhaven, 06-1943 training vessel for coastal artillery (Küstenartillerie-Schulschiff Flakschule I), 05-1945 laid up at Wangerooge as barracks ship, 04-05-1946 returned to owner Nicolaus Turowsky, Burg/Dithmarschen, 07-1949 equipped with Diesel engine Holst. Maschinenbau AG 215 hp, 02-01-1951 new owner Anne Marie Danz (daughter of Nicolaus Turowsky), 21-01-1958 renamed ANNALIESE WEHLEN (Günther & Annaliese Wehlen, Hamburg), 07-07-1965 renamed ANDREA (Georg Umlandt, Johs. Thode, Hamburg), 1965 lengthened 7,40 m (234 GRT), 20-11-1977 renamed LORD (Winter & Co KG, Flensburg) and later converted to passenger ship for deep sea fishing trips, 18-04-1984 renamed NICKELSWALDE I (Heidemarie Landschof, Heiligenhafen, since 01-09-2001 Reederei Landschof GmbH, Heiligenhafen), 04-2010 scrapped at Interseroh MAB Rostock GmbH, Rostock; photo by J.
