Description
English: End 4th century, early 5th . A mosaic from a heavily damaged room in a house, found when a villager dug a well. It is stressed that while the rams’ horns are shown frontally, the heads are turned sideways. Using rams’ heads is of Iranian origin, as is the depiction of roses between the heads.
