Português: Antigo Lazareto, Federação, Salvador, Bahia. "O antigo Lazareto está situado na colina de São Lázaro, próximo à ermida do mesmo nome. Originalmente estava em terreno ermo, “fora da barra”, o que permitia recolher enfermos provenientes da Costa d’África, antes de ingressarem na cidade. A 12 de Outubro de 1734, registrou-se a escritura do patrimônio, que fazem Jorge Fernandes da Rocha e sua mulher, Francisca Xavier, proprietários da capela que, de novo se pretendia fazer, por invocação de São Lázaro."--IPAC.
