Description
Español: En el Museo de Historia de Madrid se conserva una gran maqueta llamada "Modelo de Madrid", construida por el ingeniero militar León Gil de Palacio, entre los años 1828 y 1830. En este detalle vemos en diagonal parte de la calle Fuencarral, con la gran manzana del Hospicio de Madrid (Real Hospicio del Ave María y San Fernando), del cual solamente se conserva la crujía de la fachada principal y la capilla. El inmueble actualmente es sede del Museo de Historia de Madrid (o Museo Municipal).
