മലയാളം: ടെലിവിഷൻ ആന്റിന
English: A Yagi television antenna used for fringe reception of television signals in the VHF frequencies. It has a driven element consisting of a folded dipole to match the impedance of the 300Ω twin lead feedline to the television receiver. The other rods are called parasitic elements. The antenna has 11 "directors" (to left) which strengthen the signal and 2 "reflectors" on a vertical cross boom (right) which reflect the signal back toward the driven element. The antenna's beam direction is toward the upper left. |
