Deutsch: Zitat aus Emil Brass: „Aus dem Reiche der Pelze“, Häufiger sind die Murmeltiere noch in den Karpaten und Pyrenäen, auch im Rhonetal. Früher wurden die gefangenen Jungen häufig aufgezogen und gezähmt und dann von herumziehenden Savoyardenknaben gezeigt. Jetzt (1911) hat dieser Erwerbszweig wohl fast ganz aufgehört.[1]
