Español: El lienzo representa al El cardenal-infante don Fernando de Austria (1609-1641), que era hijo del rey Felipe III de España y hermano de Felipe IV, siendo además célebre por haber obtenido una gran victoria en la batalla de Nördlingen (1634), que se libró en 1634, durante la Guerra de los Treinta Años. Esta obra es una copia del retrato que pintó Anthony van Dyck del cardenal-infante y que se conserva en el Museo del Prado. |
