Antonov An-2 passenger biplane at the Museum of Aviation in Košice

Summary edit

Description
English: Passenger version of the Antonov An-2 agricultural/utility/transport biplane displayed at the Museum of Aviation in Košice, Slovakia. Designed by Oleg Antonov and manufactured by the Soviet and later Ukrainian aviation company Antonov between 1947 and 2001, it was part of the inventory of the Soviet Air Force and many East Block air forces and armed forces during the Cold War, as well as a large number of civilian airlines in the East Block and elsewhere. The preserved specimen shown here is a former Ukrainian civilian Antonov An-2 (most likely an An-2T, or the An-TP, the passenger version of the An-2). The aircraft's NATO reporting name is "Colt".
Slovenčina: Pasažierska verzia poľnohospodárskeho/úžitkového/dopravného dvojplošníka Antonov An-2, vystavená v Múzeu letectva v Košiciach, Slovensko. Vyrábaná sovietskou a neskôr ukrajinskou spoločnosťou Antonov v rokoch 1947-2001, An-2 bol súčasťou sovietskych vzdušných síl a mnohých ďalších vzdušných a ozbrojených síl východného bloku počas Studenej vojny. Taktiež slúžil vo veľkom počte civilných aerolínií vo východnom bloku a inde. Tu vystavený zachovaný exemplár je bývalý ukrajinský civilný Antonov An-2 (najpravdepodobnejšie An-2T, prípadne An-TP, pasažierska verzia dvojplošníka An-2). Kódové označenie NATO pre lietadlo je "Colt".
