Cette oeuvre a été copiée par les romains pour représenter "Vénus Genetrix" dans son temple sur le forum de César www.louvre.fr/oeuvre-notices/aphrodite-dite-venus-genitrix


Le centre d'exposition des musées du Capitole dans l'ancienne centrale thermoélectrique Giovanni Montemartini à Rome est un exemple étonnant d'un site industriel transformé en musée. Il a ouvert en 1997 avec l'installation de centaines de sculptures antiques. Cette centrale électrique, mise en fonctionnement au début des années 1900, a été la première à Rome.
