Description

I saw this heading to The Priory Park, when I returned this way, I made sure I got shots of this fountain.

It is the Apollo Fountain in Coronation Gardens by the sculptor William Bloye (near Ednam Road).

In the winter it was frozen.

It is a sculpture on top of a fountain. Dates from 1939.

The "Apollo" statue was unveiled on the 19th May 1939.
