DescriptionApproaching the Tan Hill Public House - The Highest Pub in Britain ^ - geograph.org.uk - 436878.jpg |
English: Approaching the Tan Hill Public House - The Highest Pub in Britain ! At 1,732ft (528 metres) above sea level, this is reputedly the highest pub in Britain. The Pennine Way National Trail passes by here, and as can be seen when this photo was taken in June 2006, the pub was doing a brisk lunchtime trade. Well worth a visit! |
