In den im Aquarium eingerichteten Büroräumen haben sich der Arbeitsgemeinschaft für selbstbestimmtes Leben schwerstbehinderter Menschen (ASL e.V.) und der Berliner Assistenz Verein (BAV e.V.) fest eingemietet. Die restlichen ⅔ des Raums wird für Veranstaltungen, Vorträge, und mehr genutzt.

In 2015, the well-known Berlin aquarium specialist Aquarien Meier closed after almost 40 years on site. A 350 m² commercial space on the ground floor of Skalitzer Straße 6, Berlin-Kreuzberg vacant, right next door to the café and event location Südblock, Admiralstraße 1-2 became vacant. A work group for self-determined lives of severely disabled people, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für selbstbestimmtes Leben schwerstbehinderter Menschen (ASL e.V.), and an assistance service for people with disabilities, the Berliner Assistenz Verein (BAV e.V.) rent permanent office spaces at Aquarium. The remaining ⅔ of the space is used for events, lectures, and more.
