Description

Arak (Haupt Platz )

Arak ist die Hauptstadt und mit 471.770 Einwohnern (Stand: 2012) und die größte Stadt der Provinz Markazi im Iran. Die Stadt ist im Westen, Osten und Süden von Bergen umgeben und grenzt an die Städte Qom und Isfahan. Arak liegt etwa 1.750 m über dem Meeresspiegel und ist 280 km von der Hauptstadt Teheran entfernt.
