Description
Français : Le comte de Las Cases aurait rédigé sous ses branches alors bien vertes une partie du fameux "Mémorial de Sainte-Hélène" de Napoléon. En l'été 1820, il séjourna en effet dans la propriété de la colline du bois de Sohan, appartenant à Edmond Fyon, qui le recevait régulièrement pour le dîner en son château de Juslenville, situé dans la vallée. Il empruntait, à cheval, un chemin pentu et, selon toute vraisemblance, laissait brouter l'animal pendant que lui-même se reposait ou écrivait les Mémoires.
