Description: Archibald Hoxsey, a pilot who worked for the Wright Brothers and holder in 1910 of the world's altitude record, reads a barograph before taking flight at Dominguez Field in Los Angeles, California. The date inscribed on negative is incorrect; Hoxsey died in 1910.

Physical Description: 1 photographic print: gelatin silver, part of 1 volume (312 gelatin silver prints); 12 x 17 cm on 28 x 38 cm mount
