Description
English: Example of Leopold Arends's shorthand system, adapted to Swedish language. — Translation: Brevity and rapid writing are undeniably important qualities of the stenographer, but of fully equal importance are reliability and clarity, and where it is lacking, one has no real use for the practical life of the knowledge of stenography. The system that proves to best correspond to the claims of clarity will therefore in the long run come out victorious in the battle between the different methods.
