Deutsch: Raumfrachter ATV-4 "Albert Einstein" Ariane 5ES mit "OCAM"-Kamerasystem

Gemeinsam mit Partnern hat das DLR in den vergangenen Jahren das On-Board-Kamerasystem "OCAM" entwickeln lassen, mit dem sich der Flug der Ariane-Rakete verfolgen lässt. Das OCAM-System ist eine eigenständige Komponente, die auf der Ariane 5 als Passagier mitfliegt.

Der Höhepunkt des OCAM-Einsatzes wird die Beobachtung des Absetzens von ATV-4 im Orbit sein. Für dieses Ereignis wird OCAM dreidimensionale Video-Sequenzen aufnehmen, um das dynamische Verhalten der Raumfahrzeuge während der Separationsphase zu studieren. Damit eröffnet sich für die Ingenieure des ATV-Projekts eine völlig neue Möglichkeit, den Erfolg ihrer Arbeit zu beobachten und zugleich für die Zukunft wichtige neue Erfahrungen zu sammeln. www.dlr.de/blogs/DesktopDefault.aspx/tabid-7023/11643_rea... Polski: Automatyczny Statek Transportowy ATV-4 "Albert Einstein" na rakiecie Ariane 5 ES wraz z systemem kamer OCAM.

Razem z partnerami DLR opracował system kamer OCAM na pokładzie rakiety który może śledzić trasę jej przelotu. OCAM jest w pełni samodzielnym systemem przenoszonym na Ariane 5.

Kluczowym elementem wykorzystania OCAM będzie umieszczenie ATV-4 na orbicie. Do wykonania tego zadania OCAM będzie nagrywał trójwymiarowe sekwencje video oraz badał dynamikę statku podczas separacji. Otworzy to nowe możliwości monitorowania efektów pracy inżynierów pracujących przy projekcie ATV oraz pozwoli na uzyskanie cennego doświadczenia na przyszłość.
