Norsk bokmål: Knut Hamsuns sønn Arild Hamsun (1914–1988) som norsk krigsreporter i Waffen-SS på østfronten under andre verdenskrig i 1943. På brystet har korrespondenten Jernkorset av 2. klasse (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse) som han mottok i september 1943. Ermebåndet på venstre arm er merket med SS-Kriegsberichter.
