Description
English: Site map of Arkwood, Inc. Superfund site, Boone County, Arkansas. The Arkwood company operated a wood treatment facility on the site between 1962 and 1984. The site was contaminated with pentachlorophenol, creosote and dioxin (2,3,7,8-TCDD). US EPA designated Arkwood as a Superfund site in 1989. Site cleanup operations began in 1994.
