Description
Interlingue: Arles (Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence, France), interior of the Notre-Dame-la-Major church, as soon as you enter in the south aisle, admirable old high altar from the 17th century, in painted and gilded wood, from the former conventual church of Saint-Blasius in the Saint-Césaire enclosure ; in 2013, the altarpiece painting and its frame, both restored, are on display in the Chapel of Purgatory, pending the restoration of the altar and the altarpiece.
